Research professional
Tom Ignacchiti is a research professional at the Legal Research Chair in Food Diversity and Security (DDSA Chair) at Laval University.
He holds a Master's degree in Environmental Law, Sustainable Development, and Food Security (LL.M) from Laval University, as well as a Master 2 in Environmental Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, as part of a dual-degree program. He also holds a Master 2 in Agricultural and Agri-Food Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Within the DDSA Chair, his research focuses on legal issues related to food security and food systems, as well as the right to adequate food.
He is one of the architects of the Proposal for an International Convention on Agricultural and Food Diversity and Sustainability.
