Research professional
Morgane Leclercq is a research professional at the Legal research Chair in Food Diversity and Security (DDSA Chair) at Laval University. She holds a PhD in Law from Laval University and Aix-Marseille University (LL.D.), a Master's degree in Environmental Law, Sustainable Development, and Food Security from Laval University (LL.M.), a Master's degree in Environmental Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas Universities (M.), and a Bachelor's degree in Ethnology from the University of Strasbourg (L.). From 2016 to 2020, she participated in a multidisciplinary and collaborative project on cultivated diversity management systems in West Africa (CoEx), led by Sélim Louafi and Mathieu Thomas. In this context, she collaborated with peasant organizations in Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, and Senegal. From January 2018 to June 2019, she worked in the AGAP research unit of the Center for International Cooperation in Agricultural Research for Development (CIRAD). Her research focuses on legal, social, environmental, and managerial issues related to food access, as well as broader issues of food diversity and security.
